Purchasing Fine Art Prints
Images in the gallery are available for purchase.
All images are printed on fine art paper using archive-quality
pigment-based inks. As a consequence, prints from The Light's Right
Studio will last longer than photographic prints using film emulsions
and chemicals. Each print is guaranteed against visible fading for
the life of the original purchaser.
Each print includes two artist-signed and sealed Certificates of
Authenticity.
The Light's Right Studio limits the number of signed and numbered
prints to 250 regardless of size.
The choice of cropping, paper type, and finish (i.e. matte,
luster, glossy) are decisions left to the photographer.
Prints are shipped flat. The coatings on fine art papers can be
very fragile. Rolling fine art prints can cause the emulsion to
crack or flake.
Avoid touching the prints. The coating can easily be damaged by
rough handling. To prevent environmental damage and limit fading,
the prints should be matted and framed. Mats are not only decorative.
They also prevent damage from humidity and other environmental factors.
Use archive-quality matboard and foamcore backing board. Avoid hanging
the prints in direct sunlight.
Properly cared for, your fine art prints from The Light's Right
Studio will give you a lifetime of pleasure.
